A single glTF numeral is redrawn sixty times along one axis and pushed back into three.js scene fog, so the copies fade out as they recede. The Leva panel writes straight to the perspective camera’s position, zoom and field of view and then calls updateProjectionMatrix, so dragging a slider never triggers a React re-render of the react-three-fiber tree.
